In answer to the nation’s call of addressing extreme poverty and hunger, fingerlings were distributed to the local residents of Pura who have signified interest in the Dispersal program of the LGU thru the Municipal Agriculture’s Office.

The 1987 Constitution guarantees the right of citizens to participate in governance. Moreover, the Local Government Code of 1991 provided formal spaces for CSOs to participate in local development councils and other special bodies from the barangay level to the regional level.

In compliance to the mandate of the 2016 DILG Grassroots Participatory Budgeting Process, the LGU conducted the CSO assembly last October 27, 2014 at the Pura Training Center. Officers and representatives from recognized CSO’s were present during the activity complemented by officials of the LGU.
